Here are two of our hardest workers making sure our horses have enough water in this heat.

Adoption days was a huge success due in part to the cooperation between the Sedgwick County Animal Control Department, Sedgwick County Sheriffs Department, and Hope in the Valley Equine Rescue and Sanctuary.
Richard Havens brought the Sedgwick County Animal Response Team (SCART) mobile unit out for display at our Adoption Days and to answer any questions about what they do and how they interact with us as an equine rescue.
Thank you Richard so much for your hard work and willingness to educate people about it!

Chris Kaegi-Stevens, a trainer who has really helped HITVERAS, put on a fun show full of obstacles to help us rate our training and riding skills. Kizmet (left) and Pekabu were there representing the rescue.
